over the Christmas period and the subsequent examination phase, it is outwardly turned to finally silence us. This, however, certainly not that we would put our work down, on the contrary. Rather, our focus concerns since the last months more on the education sector eroded the country such as Germany. For the chronic under-funding of our university is like the Entwissenschaftlichung, commodification and instrumentalization of (academic) education in general a general social problem with a societal cause. Accordingly, it is important to develop solutions in cooperation and solidarity with and to others, directly and indirectly affected.
a decision that takes account of this idea is our participation in the ambitious project student strike in 2009 specified in this Context for next summer term, specifically in the week between 15 and 19 June planned, locally and nationwide to organize in (high) schools and on the road a week of protests, their organization, we want to think of Trier for a comprehensive action program. Not least for this to win supporters among local clubs, parties and many other educational institutions as well as our strengths and interests in the development and implementation of education strike actively involved makes current according to the main part of our stress.
A lot of work, who will be well come not on the semester break to rest. ;)
